Thanksgiving is such a fun time of the year – the perfect time to gather the family together and stuff yourselves silly before, hopefully, taking a nap and sleeping it all off. But sometimes you don’t really feel like cooking or, even worse, cleaning up afterwards, so what do you do?

Well, you could always turn to Canal Side Inn and take advantage of our Thanksgiving meals! Best of all, we offer both dine-in buffet and easy take-and-go options to suit you and your family.

Don’t feel like cleaning up and have a big family to feed? Then come down and enjoy our buffet featuring everything from Virginia baked ham to slow-roasted white and dark meat turkey, as well as all the ‘fixins and desserts you could ever hope for. Canal Side Inn is open Tuesday through Saturday during Thanksgiving week and serving 11:00am-3:00pm Thanksgiving Day.

And if you feel like just coming in, grabbing your meal, and taking it back home? Well, we’ve got you covered there too! Our takeout menus include the same delicious slow-roasted turkey, honey glazed butternut squash, rosemary gravy, and of course some delicious apple pie to round out your meal.

Additionally, we will be partnering with our local Food Pantry and for every single meal that is purchased at the Inn we will be donating an additional dinner to the Pantry! That means that not only will you fill up your hungry belly and keep your entire family satisfied, you’ll also be helping someone in need and giving back to our local community!
